Lying in bed at night, my mind wanders, jumping timelines, reliving my own experiences through a non-linear stream of consciousness. My work is about recreating those moments only I can see in my head, trying to press print on the cinema of my mind. By creating these photographs, I explore the limbo between life and imagination that memories live in. Some I only have a quick impression of while others are tangible down to the very last detail. The process of extracting my memories from my brain and putting them into photographs forces me to question how I remember something and why my subconscious finds it important.
