Here is Everything, 2022

My work utilizes the artist’s ability to reduce one’s perception of the world into an artwork. In collapsing the content of my work to discardable and overlooked forms, such as printing the coding of my photographs onto receipt paper in Here is Everything, 2022, I challenge the worth and importance of my own work to try and uncover the real driving force behind the process of creation. My works are portraits of thought. I aim to shift the perspective of my viewers and ask them to question what they have previously overlooked in the material world. The moment of becoming aware of something that one has always accepted as a norm is what I hope to offer my audience.
