Coco Tan
Recently, I was fortunate to become a registered dog walker on Wag, a caregiving platform. I gain access to the homes and offices of strangers while forming connections with their cherished companions. As I immerse myself further into this role, a bridge materializes, connecting my experience as an outsider to the dogs’ emotions. The ever-present leash, an emblem of urban dogs, symbolizes our shared activity of navigating the complexities of a city that is both home and unknown.
