Aryanna Karoon

The poem explores the relation between the weather and my self-esteem. Creating a conversation with
nature, I confer forgiveness on myself as I learn from its empathy and find peace within the positive and
negative parts of life. Through images, I want to show that beauty isn’t always beautiful. Embracing
weather’s variability, I learn to forgive it at its worst by remembering it at its best. I learn to make peace with imperfection by remembering its ability to be beautiful.
