Finn Blue

Metal Gardens is a video installation exploring the abstraction and minimization of the self in a highly mediated world. I draw on experiences of mental fragmentation while using a backdrop of large machinery and rigid landscapes; snippets of original and found text evoke the dissolution of body and mind. A small screen serves as a viewing platform.
