Integrating photography and sculptural methods, Plastic Fantastic, crafted from wire mesh and liquid latex, invites viewers to explore three-dimensionality with projected images on printed lycra fabric. Influenced by East Asian cultures deeply impacted by cosmetic surgery, I’m fascinated by its transformative power over beauty standards and identity formation. I blur reality and artifice, reshaping and distorting found imagery to suggest  the physicality of surgical alteration.
