Sean Crimmins

Font of the Place Between is a depiction of internal sacred architecture. Inspired by the desire for communion and healing that is physically manifested in Christian baptismal fonts, as well as the myth of the Cosmic Egg—a symbol of the creation of the universe in Greek Orphic mythology—this fountain is the pumping heart of the artist’s introspective universe, a waypoint toward healing from past trauma.
