Toby Finke

Through photography, I play with overlapping experiences of sexuality and desire, discomfort and disgust, queerness and identity. My images highlight mundane moments that are charged with gender and eroticism, and exchanges of power, pain, and care. These ambiguous interactions are avenues toward self-discovery, where relationships grounded in BDSM, kinship, and transition are covalent practices for actualizing and defining ourselves.
