Will Shellhorn
“French Exit” is an installation commemorating my close friend Willow Gray and her connection to music. The installation consists of a collection of vinyl records with my photos printed on the sleeves. Above the collection, deposited in an unmarked crate, is the last image I captured of Willow. Through the performance of flipping through records, we are able to reanimate and honor her.
Will Shellhorn is a queer multimedia artist and performer based in New York City. Using a DIY approach,
Shellhorn’s work is usually playful, touching on themes of youth, coming-of-age, and relationships.
