China, a nation rooted deeply in its traditions, is witnessing a cultural shift that transcends generations.
However, beneath the surface, smaller yet equally significant traditions are silently slipping into obscurity, facing the looming threat of becoming relics of the past. Through staged photos and fading proverbs—for example 久病床前无孝子 (“There’s no filial son by the bedside of a chronically ill parent”)—“Whispers of Tradition” stands as a testament to the memorialization of cultural heritage in the modern era.
