Emilie Gia Mẫn Rolland
Everything I’ve Ever Wanted to Be explores the tension between childhood dreams and adult reality. Through vibrant medium format film and staged setups, Rolland creates absurd scenes by blending fiction and reality. Capturing an idealized version of past aspirations viewed through a matured lens, the work reflects on how dreams evolve over time. This body of work invites the viewer to consider how their own dreams have matured-what remains, what has changed, and how imagination and adulthood confront one another.
