Vic (Zhixuan) Guo

Falling is a photography project inspired by cinematic visual language, focusing on complex emotions such as rage, sadness, confusion, and anxiety. This project aims to create strong emotional impact and visual shock by integrating creative elements such as black-and-white medium-format film, dramatic lighting, and set design. The characters in the frame are objects of the viewer’s gaze, but they also act as narrative subjects of their own; they exist in limbo between vulnerability and strength. This work invites viewers to find pieces of themselves in these feelings.
