What does it look like to lean on the divine in times of sorrow? In All Its Glory, I’ll Find You In The Light is a series that echoes the presence of faith in Johnson’s life as she works through her grief. The installation includes an image of Johnson and her mother working together to reach a place of healing. The video of her mother singing is a representation of how their bodies and voices are used to connect to a higher power and those departed. When someone passes, their spirit lingers in ways ineffable-much like the way God is revealed in life.
