Lila Felsheim

Idling at the Precipice explores the addictive and traumatic nature of digital life through a collage of original and archival imagery as well as animation. The resulting film and installation tell the story of a character emerging back into physical reality after being consumed by their technology. Underscoring the cultural regression of our current political climate, the work embraces the possibilities of analog processes and human craftsmanship to emulate the chaos of our time. 

Lila Felsheim is a multidisciplinary artist from Seattle, WA whose DIY aesthetics emphasize connections between digital lens-based media and analog material exploration.
