The technological boom of the early 2000s left women with nowhere to hide, especially those with fame and fortune. She’s So Lucky, She’s a Star draws on archival audio and visual media, including news reports, interviews, and music, to present a multimedia installation that reveals the complexities of Y2K culture and third-wave feminism.

Risa Yeong Koehler (b. 2003) is a New York City-based multidisciplinary artist and writer. With a background in photography, her work blends pop culture, feminism, music, and fashion.
