Haley Brown-Bloom
To take the long way home is to take time to reflect. “The Long Way Home” is a body of work that embraces my intuitive approach to photography. It is a collection of images made during moments of solitude, interludes that often punctuate the stage of life I find myself in. These observations of light and space, while not particularly narrative in nature, together reflect the feelings of loneliness, uncertainty, and longing that strongly affect me as I navigate my early twenties. In this series I am searching for some overarching meaning and simultaneously finding it in small doses.
