Thấu Hiểu uses my grandfather’s abstract paintings as the basis for a digital performance. Envisioning narratives drawn from his work, I sought to emulate the intricate layers inherent in painting through a fusion of improvisational dance, music, and CGI. Thấu Hiểu is an experimental video installation that originates from my efforts to comprehend myself, my home, and the nuances of my heritage. This piece serves as the intermediary, connecting the past and present—a heartfelt dialogue unfolding in the middle space.
