For me, photography has always been about the process of going and taking the images more than anything else. Growing up, I traveled a lot with my family. My parents thought travel was as important as education, so we spent a lot of time in different parts of the world. As I got older, my parents started giving me disposable cameras which evolved to an ipod touch and eventually a camera. On these trips is where I fell in love with observing the world through the camera. I do not feel the need to edit with my images after the fact. I would rather leave the image in its ‘true’ state. Any stylistic choices that I want to make are done while I am taking the actual image, leading back to my love of the process and making of an image.
